At its April 11, 2018 public meeting, the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows Board of Education received the Proposed Preliminary Budget 2018/19 for information.
The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District developed a proposed preliminary budget that supports its vision, and that considers not only its shared priorities but also the needs of its community of learners. In accordance with the School Act, school districts in the province must approve the balanced budget and submit it to the Ministry of Education by June 30, 2018.
Providing Feedback
The board welcomes your input on the proposed budget. The Proposed Preliminary Budget 2018/19 and the Executive Summary are available for your review below.
Feedback on the proposed preliminary budget can be provided through the following channels:
- Online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/proposed-preliminary-budget (closes at 4:00 pm on April 20, 2018* extended from April 17)
- By email at budget@sd42.ca
- In person at the April 18, 2018 Budget Committee of the Whole meeting at 6:00 pm at the District Education Office (22225 Brown Avenue, Maple Ridge). Groups or individuals who wish to present at this meeting must register by emailing budget@sd42.ca no later than April 16, 2018.

All submissions to the board are considered public documents. The board therefore reserves the right to make any submissions available to public and to place them on the district website.
