School communities across Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District 42 came together to celebrate diversity and LGBTQ communities during Pride Month in June.
The theme was inclusivity and acceptance, as students and teachers dressed up, held discussions, and created artwork.
Rainbows were all the rage at Hammond Elementary, where teachers showed off their colourful socks and clothing.
Staff at Pitt Meadows Elementary got into the Pride Month spirit with colourful clothing, decorations, and welcoming messages.
Students at Samuel Robertson Technical used creativity and colours to create their pride messages.
