Ever wonder about the backstory to Peter Pan? Now you can find out.
Garibaldi Interdisciplinary Arts Academy is presenting Peter and the Starcatcher – the prequel to the famous story of Peter Pan.
“This is a heart-warming and funny story that explains how we discovered the famous characters of Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys and more,” said Garibaldi teacher-director Cynthia Lacroix, who noted the Tony-winning musical offers great entertainment for the entire family.
“A real must-see of adventure and wit.”
A cast and crew of 30 students from Grades 8 to 12 are participating in the production.
Peter and the Starcatcher runs from Feb. 21-25 at 7:30 pm at the Garibaldi Theatre (248th Street at Dewdney Trunk Road). Tickets are $17 (adults) and $15 (students/seniors) and are available at the Little Cricket Gift Gallery, at the Garibaldi Secondary office or at the door.
