Do you want to make a positive difference in your community and beyond? If you are a Grade 9-12 student in Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows, you can participate in the upcoming Ridge Meadows Youth Impact Summit.
During the all-expenses-paid weekend retreat participants will take part in ”leadership activities, hear from professional speakers, and be given the chance to network with other participants and leaders in their communities.”
The summit, hosted by the Rotary Club of Haney, takes place at Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre in Maple Ridge from Friday, Oct. 20 to Sunday, Oct. 22. Students interested in participating must apply by October 13 at www.rmyouth.com or by calling 1-877-565-2799. There are approximately 60-70 spaces available.
