Thomas Haney Secondary’s Sightlines Theatre is preparing to present the award-winning play The Diary of Anne Frank, dramatized by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett.
“At 13, Anne Frank went into hiding in a tiny annex above her father’s Amsterdam shop; two years later, she died in the Nazi concentration camp at Belsen. The diary she kept while in hiding was released by her father as a book and later, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play,” explained Shelley Evans, artistic director of the school’s Sightlines Theatre.
Performance dates: April 25, matinee at 12:30 pm; April 25, 26 and 27 at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. For reservations, call 604.463.2001 ext. 58431.
