Last week, Webster’s Corners Elementary hosted a fun-filled community open house to kick off the 2019-20 school year.
The event included a DJ, visit from members of the fire department and a police K-9 unit, and hotdogs and drinks courtesy of the PAC.
“We have a very close-knit community and the open houses allow us to be together and celebrate the beginning of the new school year,” said principal Ramin Mehrassa. “Another reason for having an open house is that it allows parents to meet their child’s teacher and to put a name to a face. We make a fun evening out of it.”
