School District No. 42 provides productivity software to staff and students. All district software is continually updated.

School District No. 42 deploys and manages apps for iPads using Apple’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP). These two programs combined with our Mobile Device Management (MDM) produce a robust end-to-end solution for handheld devices.
To be deployed to district mobile devices, all apps must be purchased through School District No. 42 VPP accounts.

SD42 is also a member of the Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC) for the evaluation, licensing and acquisition of print, software, and digital learning resources. Many additional software titles are available. For more details please refer to: https://www.bcerac.ca/agreements/

School District No. 42 uses the atrieveERP product suite from PowerSchool for our accounting, human resources, payroll, purchasing, and staff absence dispatch functions.
Staff should start by accessing our My SD42 Employee Portal. Your district ID/password combination should be used to login.
*Your district ID is normally in the format: FirstName_LastName
Employees experiencing issues accessing the My SD42 Employee Portal, or having password/print/install issues with our internal core ERP system clients, should submit a ticket to our IT HelpDesk.
For all other issues with our ERP System Applications (not listed above), the pertinent department (accounting, HR, payroll, purchasing) whose staff are having an issue should report it to PowerSchool directly. If the department is needing support or doesn’t have PowerSchool’s contact info, they can obtain it from HelpDesk.
