They call Webster’s Corners Elementary School the “Home of the Wildcats.” Perhaps “Home of where caring children and teachers make a big difference” was already snapped up.
While waiting for Sunday’s 21st annual Vistas Run to get going, I was again reminded how many positive things today’s youth are doing, often with little fanfare.
The Wildcat children not only have drama, hip-hop and track classes, but they spend a lot of time in the community volunteering at the Caring Place, preparing and serving lunch for seniors. They raise money for the local SPCA and they help the less fortunate with other clever fundraising projects. Kids, eh?!
