The Thomas Haney Craft Fair is back, and this year it’s being organized by students.
It’s now billed as Thomas Haney The Happening Craft Fair, and is taking vendor applications for the event which will run on Nov. 23 and 24. The event ran for about 25 years, had a five-year hiatus, and returned last year.
Coordinator Reece Reichelt said the staff members who ran the craft fair moved on, leaving the groundwork for the students to continue the event. Reichelt said he is excited for this year’s craft fair, and expecting an even bigger turnout than last year, as they have more than 120 vendors from across B.C. and are rolling in at least seven food trucks as a new feature.
“We’re predicting an even bigger crowd than the 3,500 people we saw last year,” he said.
