Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating a suspicious incident where an adult male offered a teenaged girl a ride Monday morning. Constable Amanda Harnett said, “At approximately 7:40 a.m. Monday September 14, 2015 a teenaged female was walking in the area of 228 Street and 137 Avenue when a male approached her on foot and offered her a ride. When the girl declined his offer, the male insisted. At this time the girl saw a friend, so she walked away from the man.

He is described as a Caucasian male, 40 to 50 years of age, with grey/brown hair, balding, with short curly hair on the sides. He is described as being tall, approximately 6 feet, and lanky.
