Transition Planning for Positive Futures

A parent information night entitled “Transition Planning Into the Community for Students with Diverse Abilities” will be hosted at Thomas Haney Secondary on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Parents will get the opportunity to meet Megan Daly, the new navigator from Services to Adults with Developmental Disabilities (STADD) and receive a copy of the new Transition Handbook – Planning for Positive Futures created by Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District’s Learning Services. 

The booklet offers a comprehensive overview and step-by-step guide to planning for successful transitions into the community, post-secondary and inclusive employment.
